Hello! My name is Raymond Chan, and I am a freelance event and wedding photographer based in Perth, Western Australia.

Just a little bit about myself – I enjoy my coffee black, and strong. I love traveling to new places and exploring into the unknown. I enjoy my beers – spot the beer in the picture.

And yes I do love capturing all the genuine moments – weddings, in particular.

I have been shooting over the last decade, and chanraymond photography was established circa 2010 in Perth, Western Australia.

Over the years, I have come to specialise in a combination of photojournalistic & documentary style wedding photography, where I aim to capture genuine moments of your day in an unobtrusive and professional manner.

My belief is that every photo captured should not only just document your day and event, but also be able to capture the RAW emotions of the moment and be able to tell a story so you and your loved ones can fully immerse yourselves during your special day and be able to look back and relive the memories from the photos for the years to come.

Ultimately, I have come to learn from my past clients (now friends) that the images they appreciate most are the ones captured with minimal planning/posing, and sometimes completely unexpected. Being able to put your trust in me to deliver on your day is my ultimate goal as your photographer. 

I offer standard packages for wedding photography, and all packages are fully customisable to suit your requirements as I understand that every event is unique. 

Having had some wonderful opportunities to travel to some amazing countries for shoots over the last decade, I am available for destination weddings within WA, interstate and internationally. Please don't hesitate ask for destination wedding photography info. 

I also offer wedding videography as part of my wedding packages should you require a Perth based wedding videographer.
